Paul was a veteran of the United
States Air Force.
He served in England during the Korean Conflict,
were he worked as a Fire/Rescue Specialist.
He served as a Fireman with the U.
S. Government
at Andrews Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. and at
Stewart Air Force Base, Newburgh, NY.
He also served as a Crew Chief in
the Fire Department
at West Point Military Academy, West Point, NY.
Paul was very proud of his long career as a professional fireman
and had a strong bond to his firematic brothers.
Mr. Huba was the Curator at Orange
Count Firefighters Museum
from 2005 to 2008. He was very involved with securing and
displaying the initial collection of artifacts seen in this museum.
We will miss him and remember him
with fondness......
